It is not a high school diploma but a certificate of equivalency issued by the State Department of Education. Preparation classes are available in Three Rivers. Testing is given at the Barrows Adult Education Center. Fee for the G.E.D. Test is $250 total for all 5 tests, or free for students enrolled for classes and counted  during count week.

Eligibility:
Participants must be 18 years of age, and their original high school class must have graduated to receive your Michigan GED Certificate.  Students under 18 years of age may test with special permission.  Testers must show photo ID, and be a Michigan resident.
