Welcome to Three Rivers Community Schools!
Welcome to Three Rivers Community Schools website. We are located in Southwest Michigan, 30 minutes south of Kalamazoo, Michigan and just a 15 minute drive to the Northwest Indiana state line. TRCS strives to be the number one choice school district in St. Joseph County. We are proud of all our academic, athletics, and performing arts programs and accomplishments.
A great educational and extracurricular experience is the cornerstone of our school district. Our community and schools work collaboratively and support each other ensuring students have access to high quality programs and opportunities so that our young people are prepared for great careers and bright futures. We believe that success in schools goes beyond test scores, and that’s why we work closely with the community, our staff, and families to provide an environment that is centered on the individual needs of every student.
Strong schools and strong communities go hand in hand. In fact, the Three Rivers community members voted and passed a 9 year $61.3 million bond that is broken into three series. Each of these series focuses on updating safe and secure entrances, building updates, outdoor athletic and performing arts upgrades. The commitment to the students of TRCS is instrumental in the success of our school district.
I am honored to lead a district that I have so much passion for. I am a born and raised Three Rivers resident and a TRHS graduate, Class of 1992. Thankfully after my college education I was able to land a job at Andrews Elementary, the very school I attended K-5th grade. I spent 9 years teaching 3rd grade, 4 years as Andrews Elementary Principals, 2 years as TR Middle School Principal, and 5 years as our district Curriculum Director. My family is a big part of my career path and I have all them to thank for that. In fact, our ties to TRCS are strong. Not only am I a graduate of TRCS, my husband, Herb, and daughter, Kylee are both Wildcats, both attending K-12. Proud to be a Wildcat!
Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat!
